Visit the Pyramids of Giza on top of Giza plateau rise the three pyramids erected by Cheops, Chepren and Mycerinus, guarded by the mysterious Sphinx which is a mythical statue with the body of a lion and a human head.
Giza’a three pyramids and the Sphinx were constructed in the 4th dynasty of Egypt’s Old Kingdom. About 2,500 BC, King Khufu, the second pharaoh of the fourth dynasty, commissioned the building of his tomb at Giza. On an average, over 2 million blocks of stone was used to build Khufu’s pyramid, and the heaviest blocks were used as the ceiling of Khufu’s burial chamber. Khufu’s son was the next in the royal line who commissioned the building of his own pyramid complex which includes the Sphinx. Each pyramid has a mortuary temple and a valley temple linked by long causeways that were rooted and walled, proceed to visit the Egyptian Museum; situated in the Tahrer Square in Cairo. There are 107 halls in the museum. At the ground floor there are huge statues. The upper floor houses small statues, jewels and Tutankhamen treasures. It is the largest Egyptian antiques museum in the world and houses about 250,000 antique pieces covering the whole history of ancient Egypt, which extends over the past five thousand years. The Egyptian Museum comprises many sections arranged in chronological order, and then the famous Egyptian Bazaar of Khan El Khalili.

Continue to the Catacomb of Kom Al Shukafa which is the largest Roman cemetery and consists of three levels cut in the rock to a depth of 100 feet, dating back to the turn of the second century. It is a blend of Pharaonic and Roman art.
Visit the Quait bay citadel from outside then, Continue to visit the Montazah garden, Transfer back to Cairo. Arrival Cairo and transfer to your hotel.
